Bright Local Schools celebrate successful Literacy Night at Bright Elementary
By Jason Iles
Superintendent
Bright Local School District
We are thrilled to share the resounding success of our first-ever Literacy Night at Bright Elementary School.
This event, hosted by the incredible team of Mrs. Gobin, Mrs. Lee, Ms. Shelton, Mrs. Noe, Mrs. Emery and their dedicated staff, was a testament to the power of community, teamwork and a shared commitment to student success.
Thanks to their hard work and the support of our wonderful community, we welcomed 53 families into our school for a fun-filled evening rooted in literacy.
Fifty families attended the event, and an additional three families arrived at the end to take home the materials provided.
This initiative is directly tied to Bright Local Schools’ strategic plan and our district’s focus on increasing student achievement/parent and community involvement. Literacy Night not only offered an opportunity for families to engage in meaningful, educational activities but also strengthened the bond between our school and the community.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who attended and supported this event. Your involvement underscores the importance of family and community in fostering academic growth and success for our students.
With events like Literacy Night, Bright Local Schools continue to shine as a place where “Every Student, Every Day” is more than a motto – it’s a mission.
Go Wildcats!
