Fairfield hired a head coach this offseason, that being Jennifer Blue, and there is a lot to look forward to for the upcoming 2023-24 season as the new-look Lady Lions want to gain valuable experience this season with their new head coach.
Fairfield Athletic Director James Barnett announced Thursday the official signing of Fairfield Lady Lions softball senior Caitlyn Quickle to play Division I college softball for the Valparaiso University Beacons of the Missouri Valley Conference in Valparaiso, Ind.

It was a chilly night on the McClain field Monday night when the Tigers boys varsity soccer team played county rival Fairfield, and after 80 minutes of exciting, competitive action, McClain emerged with a hard-earned 3-1 victory.
It was another county rivalry game Monday night in Greenfield when the McClain Lady Tigers hosted the Fairfield Lady Lions, and when the final horn sounded, the game ended in a hard-fought 2-2 tie.
Going on the road Tuesday night (Sept. 19), the Fairfield Lady Lions earned a dominant non-conference win against the Northwest Lady Mohawks by a 8-0 score for their eighth win of the ’23 season.
