Fairfield volleyball tops Manchester in three sets
On Wednesday evening, the Fairfield Lady Lions added another Southern Hills Athletic Conference victory to their season total by defeating the Manchester Lady Greyhounds in three consecutive sets at 25-15, 25-18 and 25-17 at Grandle Gymnasium.
Fairfield totaled 30 kills, 28 assists, 16 aces, 54 digs and two blocks in the win.
For Fairfield, the leader in kills was Remi Moon with 15, as she also had one assist, one ace and five digs.
The assists leader was Paisley Stahlhut with 25, and for the match she also collected one kill, one ace and four digs. Leading in aces was Addison Cannon with five, as Cannon also finished with one kill, one dig and one block.
Alyssa Bales was the digs leader with 17, while also collecting two aces. The Lady Lions also had Emma Ayers finish with six digs, and Jaeden Drury totaled seven kills, one assist and three digs. Kinsey Drury ended the match with two kills, one assist, six aces and nine digs.
Jorja May finished the SHAC match with four kills, one ace and eight digs. Teammate Ayla Parker had one dig.

Whiteoak falls to SHAC foe Peebles
The Whiteoak Lady Wildcats were defeated on the road in SHAC play against the Peebles Lady Indians in three sets at 25-12, 25-20 and 25-15.
WHS had 13 kills, 13 assists, seven aces, 26 digs and three blocks.
Kyra Boyd totaled two kills, four assists, one ace, five digs and two blocks. Matalynn Conrad ended the match with one kill, four assists, one ace and three digs.
Teammate Marley Gobin finished with two kills, one ace, and five digs. Ryan Gobin had five assists, one ace and three digs.
WHS also saw Kylee Ruark collect three kills, four digs and a block. Kennadi Storms finished the SHAC match with five kills, three aces and six digs.

Fairfield wins 4-set match against West Union
Defending their home court on Thursday evening, the Fairfield Lady Lions defeated the West Union Lady Dragons in four sets for a SHAC victory.
Fairfield won set one at 25-17, and set two at 25-20. They lost set three at 25-23, and in the fourth set the Lady Lions rallied back for a 25-14 win.
The win improves Fairfield to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in the SHAC.

Lady ’Cats battle North Adams
In a three-set match, the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats fell to the host North Adams Lady Green Devils by scores of 25-9, 25-6 and 25-11.
WHS finished the match with nine kills, five assists, two aces and 32 digs.
Kennadi Storms finished with three kills, one ace and four digs for WHS. Teammate Kylee Ruark totaled two kills and five digs. Ryan Gobin had four assists and six digs.
The Lady ’Cats saw Marley Gobin finish with two kills and three digs. Matalynn Conrad had one assist and 10 digs. Kyra Boyd ended the match with two kills, one ace and four digs.

HHS drops FAC contest to Jackson
Traveling to Jackson County on Thursday, the Hillsboro Lady Indians lost a FAC match against their host Jackson Ironladies in three sets at 25-15, 25-13 and 25-19.
Hillsboro totaled 16 kills in the loss with Tylee Davis totaling six, while teammates Ryan Wagoner and Emmalee Young each had five.
The Lady Indians also had three aces, with two from Kayla Seeling and one from Young. Marianne Mycroft had the lone block for HHS, while Wagoner and Davis each led HHS with nine digs apiece. Also with digs were Allie Roush with eight, Seeling with three, Josie Rhoades had six, Macy Fauber totaled three, and with one dig each were Mycroft and Young.
Leading in assists was Seeling with 14, and teammates Davis and Mycroft each had one.
Wagoner totaled 15 service receptions, and next was Rhoades with 11. Also with receptions were Davis (nine), Roush (eight) and Fauber (eight).

McClain falls to host Miami Trace in three sets
Playing three sets against the Miami Trace Lady Panthers at MTHS, the McClain Lady Tigers lost their FAC contest against the hosts by scores of 25-7, 25-10 and 25-17 on Thursday evening.
McClain totaled 12 kills, five aces, 23 digs and 10 assists.
In their attacks, the Lady Tigers were led in kills by Alaya Jackson with four, while Brynlee Karnes finished with three, Anzli Beatty had two, Lydia Beatty had two and Zoie Everhart totaled one kill.
Five McClain players each had one ace, and they were Lillie Saunders, Anzli Beatty, Karnes, Brooklyn Bolender and Molly McCune.
McClain’s digs leader for the FAC match was Saunders with seven, and next were Shelby Wise (six), Anzli Beatty (four), Everhart (two), Bolender (two), Karnes (one) and McCune (one).
MHS had five assists from McCune, while Barnes totaled one, and with one each were Saunders and Izzy Clevenger.
Everhart led MHS with 18 service receptions, and the rest of the receptions included: Saunders (three), Anzli Beatty (14), Wise (12), Karnes (four), Bolender (five), Kambriah Tomlin (five) and Jackson (three).

Lady Mustangs gain 4-set win over Fayetteville
Lynchburg-Clay earned a hard-fought SHAC win on Thursday evening over the host Fayetteville Lady Rockets on the volleyball court in four sets.
LCHS won by scores of 25-23, 25-23, and 25-23 in sets one, three and four. They lost the second set at 25-19.
The Lady Mustangs ended the match with team totals that included 38 kills, 36 assists, 16 aces, 89 digs and 10 blocks.
Addy Carraher finished the match with five kills, and one dig for LCHS, while Halle Greene ended the contest with 11 kills, and five digs.
Matalyn Magee had totals that included 12 kills, one ace, four digs and seven blocks. Teammate Ava McLaughlin had one kill, 35 assists, four aces and nine digs.
The Lady Mustangs also saw Kylie O’Connor finish with seven kills, one ace, five digs and three blocks. Joslyn Rockey had one kill, one assist, two aces and 29 digs.
Avery Shope for LCHS ended with one kill, five aces and 18 digs. Melany Stephenson totaled three aces and 16 digs. Jules Vesey had two digs in the Lynchburg-Clay SHAC win.

West Union tops Whiteoak
Playing at Whiteoak High School on Friday night in SHAC play, the West Union Lady Dragons defeated the host Lady Wildcats in three sets.
WUHS won by scores of 25-13, 25-10 and 25-15.

Lynchburg-Clay wins 3-set match vs. Eastern
The Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs gained a SHAC victory Friday evening by defeating the visiting Eastern Lady Warriors in three consecutive sets.
Lynchburg-Clay won with scores of 25-10, 25-18 and 25-14.
LCHS totaled 31 kills with Halle Greene leading with 11, followed by Matalyn Magee with nine. Also with kills were Addy Carraher (three), Ava McLaughlin (two), Kylie O’Connor (one), Joslyn Rockey (one), Avery Shope (one) and Melany Stephenson (three).
Assists were led by McLaughlin with 25, followed by Greene (two), Rockey (two), Magee (one) and Stephenson (one).
Lynchburg-Clay also had 10 aces with Shope leading with four, McLaughlin totaling three, and with one each were Greene, O’Connor and Jules Vesey.
The Lady Mustangs also had 50 digs in the win, as Rockey had 18, Stephenson totaled 11, and the rest of the digs were McLaughlin (seven), Shope (six), O’Connor (three), Greene (two), Magee (two) and Vesey (one).
Gaining blocks were Magee with three and Greene had one.

Hillsboro falls to Western Brown and Zane Trace
Traveling to Western Brown High School in non-conference play on Saturday, the Hillsboro Lady Indians played in a tri-match (best of three) where they lost to Western Brown and Zane Trace.
Against Western Brown, HHS lost by scores of 25-21 and 25-20.
HHS, in their 17 kills, were led by Ryan Wagoner and Tylee Davis with six each. Having three was Emmalee Young, and with one each were Riley Pence and Josie Rhoades.
Hillsboro also totaled four aces, with three by Davis and one from Kayla Seeling. The Lady Indians also had two blocks, with one each by Seeling and Young.
Of the 42 digs by Hillsboro, Davis totaled 13 and Wagoner had 10. Also with digs were Seeling (five), Allie Roush (six), Rhoades (three), Macy Fauber (three) and Young (two).
The assist leader was Seeling with 15 of the 17 collected by HHS. Also with assists were Davis and Marianne Mycroft with one each.
Against Zane Trace, Hillsboro lost by scores of 25-23 and 25-11.

CNE defeats Lynchburg-Clay
A non-conference match on Saturday afternoon saw the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs fall to the visiting Clermont Northeastern Lady Rockets in five sets.
CNE won sets two, three and five by scores of 25-18, 25-18 and 15-12. LCHS won set one at 25-21 and set four at 25-20.
As a team LCHS, totaled 44 kills, 42 assists, 11 aces, 102 digs and seven blocks.
Addy Carraher finished with nine kills and four digs. Halle Greene ended the five-set match with seven kills, seven digs and one block.
Matalyn Magee totaled nine kills, three digs and three blocks. LCHS teammate Ava McLaughlin had one kill, 38 assists, two aces and 16 digs.
Kylie O’Connor ended the match with 12 kills, one assist, two aces, three digs and two blocks.
Joslyn Rockey had one assist and 34 digs. Avery Shope finished the match with one assist, one ace, and 14 digs. Teammate Melany Stephenson totaled five kills, one assist, three aces, 16 digs and a block. Jules Vesey totaled one kill, three aces and five digs.
