The start of the week for the Hillsboro Indians has been one of scoring many goals, while also playing stout defense, as they’ve shut out both the Western Brown Broncos and the McClain Tigers on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.
McClain FFA is heading to a national chapter interview next month, and in preparation for that, FFA members practiced their presentation for Greenfield Exempted Village school board members Monday, Sept. 16 at the board’s regular meeting.
The McClain varsity volleyball team dropped a three-set match to a very good Chillicothe squad by scores of 25-17, 27-25 and 25-19 in Greenfield last Thursday night.
The McClain girls varsity soccer team entered Thursday’s game against Chillicothe with a 7-1 record, and their only loss was a 1-0 heartbreaker at Jackson.
The McClain varsity volleyball team suffered their most disappointing loss of the season Tuesday night in Greenfield, losing to Frontier Athletic Conference defending champions and currently undefeated Miami Trace (9-0) in straight sets by scores of 25-09, 25-09 and 25-05.
The McClain soccer teams went on the road Monday night (Sept. 9) where the girls soccer team gained a non-conference win, while the boys lost in non-conference action.
