The final South Central Ohio League and regular season game of the season proved to be the time where the Hillsboro Lady Indians gained their first league win of the 2010-11 campaign.

On the latest episode of "That '70s Homecoming" Friday night, Fairfield High School crowned its newest king and queen, and the varsity basketball team defeated Southern Hills League foe West Union, defending their home court 67-42 on a night about peace, flower-power and basketball.

The 2010-11 Girls High School Basketball tournaments for all divisions is set to start on Monday, Feb. 14 with the first games of the sectional tournament. Highland County will have three teams playing on that Monday, with two others to play later in the week.

Once upon a time … OK, this story of the 2010-11 McClain Tigers boys basketball team isn't going to start out like a fairy tale, for the simple fact their season didn't start out like one, either.

The play of the game was an alley-oop dunk by Chris Cox with a pass from Cameron Rolark, but the most important part was the final score, with Fairfield defeating the Fayetteville Rockets, 63-47 Wednesday night at Fayetteville High School.
