Mark it down on your calendar….Thursday, May 31 2012.
That’s when the first pitch will be fired at V. A. Memorial Stadium that will officially kickoff the Chillicothe Paints Baseball’s 20th season.
Since 1993, the Paints have been about fun and affordability .. and of course, great baseball.
The Paints have announced their promotional calendar for the upcoming season and it promises to be an exciting one, combining a mixture of the old, but proven, fun-filled nights and some new and exciting events.
If you have children, then you’ll love Tuesday game when children 12-under eat free, compliments of Pepsi. Sunday Night games are “Kids Night’, thanks to the Family Dental Center. Kids 12-under will be admitted for just $1.
Brand new this year … every Sunday home game, plus other special nights throughout the season “Inflatable’s Rides”, including the popular “Bounce House” from Triple Crown Fun Center will be featured.
“Senior Citizens” (age 60-and over) are treated each night to reduced ticket prices and on Tuesday, June 19, all Senior Citizens will be admitted absolutely free.
“Welcome Home Veteran’s Night” will be observed on Saturday, June 23 when all Veterans and current military personnel will be admitted free.
“Winning Wednesdays” are back. The Paints have four Wednesday home games this year and on each one of those games, thanks to the Valero, a total of $500 in gasoline gift cards will be awarded to five lucky fans ($100 each) in attendance.
Every Thursday home game, including “Opening Night” is another “Thirsty Thursday”, featuring $1 draft beer!
Fireworks is for all ages, and the Paints have three big nights planned this summer including Thursday, May 31 (Opening Night), Saturday, June 30 (20th Year Celebration) and “Fan Appreciation” night, Wednesday, August 1.
