    Eagles riders of the Hillsboro, Ohio Eagles Club #1161 recently conducted a Poker Run with proceeds benefiting Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley. The Event was coordinated by Judy Roberts who has had firsthand experience with Hospice of Hope and the quality end-of life services that were provided to her mother.

    Farmers were finally blessed with a few consecutive days of nice weather last week that allowed them to make some progress with harvest. The good news is that the corn and soybean yields reported thus far have been excellent. The discouraging news is that we have a long way to go before harvest is completed.
