Cabin Creek Primitives is running a Thanksgiving Day only special.

The Edgewood Nursing Home in Greenfield invited members of the New Petersburg Social Civic Club to be guests for their November meeting.

The Greenfield Historical Society’s Holiday Tour of Homes will be held this year on Sunday, Dec. 5 from noon-5 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Home Building and Loan beginning Nov. 22 in Greenfield, or on the day of the tour at the Grain and Hay Building, Jefferson St. and McArthur Way,Greenfield, and at each home.

Saturday night supper party this weekend
    Join us on Saturday, Nov. 27 from 5-9 p.m. for a Saturday night supper party. A dinner of pork chops, whipped potatoes & gravy, green beans, bread & butter, beverage and dessert will be served from 5-5:45 p.m., followed by dancing, Euchre, pool and Corn Hole.  Live Country Music will be provided by the Over the Hill Gang. Tickets are $5 in advance or $6 at the door.

The Knights of Pythias Lodge 696 will hold a Christmas party on Saturday, Dec. 18 beginning at 5:45, with a dinner at 6:15 p.m. (bring a covered dish). Santa will arrive at 7:30 p.m. There will be drawings, door prizes, 50/50 drawings, games, fun, food, and prizes.

The Greenfield Lions Club candy store will open Friday, Nov. 26, from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

The Nov. 9 meeting of the Lynchburg Three Arts Club was held in the delightful community room at Cape May, Wilmington.

The Hillsboro Garden Club held its monthly meeting on Oct. 26 at Floral Hall. Entries for the various contests held by the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs are in the final stages of preparation.

I must admit that it has been some time since I have shared an article with you through this newspaper. In case you weren’t aware, I had hip replacement surgery last month and have just started back to work on a part-time basis. I hope to return to a full work schedule as we move into the holiday season.
