2011 Medicare benefits
brochure available at
Court House Manor
Washington Court House – Court House Manor in Washington Court House has an updated 2011 easy-to-read Medicare brochure that helps understand the Medicare benefits, covered by Medicare Part A & B.
There can be confusion when trying to understand Medicare benefits and the difference between Parts A & B. Medicare Part A, or hospital coverage, covers some of the in-patient costs incurred at the hospital, including nursing care, meals, and drugs. Medicare Part B, or medical insurance, covers services from outside providers, such as physicians and other medical services.
According to Jeri Flowers, director of customer relations, patients can recover in their post-hospital rehabilitation care community as long as they have fulfilled Medicare requirements such as a minimum three day stay in the hospital (not including day of discharge).
If the person has been in the hospital for three consecutive days, and they are transferred to our rehab community for further care of the same condition, their stay will likely be covered by Medicare, Flowers said.
“At Court House Manor, we rehabilitate many patients that have the Medicare benefit, so we are always keeping up-to-date on any changes. The 2011 Medicare Information brochure is just one way that we can help provide specifics about the Medicare benefit,” Flowers said.
For additional information, please call Court House Manor at (740) 335-9290 and speak with Jeri Flowers.
