Israelis stood with Americans on 9/11 and the years that have followed against terrorists seeking to undermine the respect for mutual understanding, coexistence, human dignity and freedom, at the core of our Republic and central to our hope for our fellow people around our world. We share their loss, as we stand with them now unequivocally in word and deed. 

When you "give human kindness" to anyone who "needs human kindness," you satisfy all three of God's commands to love.

U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm gave Americans an unintended glimpse of the future during her road trip this summer touting the wonders of electric vehicles. Far from spotlighting the promise of EVs, her public relations misadventure in Georgia involved one of her staff in a gasoline-powered vehicle blocking off a coveted charger in advance of her arrival, leading to frayed tempers and a local EV owner calling the cops.

Biden is intentionally misleading Americans with the message that his fiscal policies, which he has coined "Biden-nomics," are beneficial. Yet in poll after poll, the American people resoundingly reject Biden-nomics because they see from the gas station to the grocery store to their credit-card statements that Biden-nomics has failed.

The Supreme Court’s decision on Monday isn’t the final word. But the real question is this: Why do Democrats keep pushing a policy that costs so much and has no crime-reducing benefits? Someday, knowing who owns guns will help them to target their confiscation efforts. Mass registration will set the stage for future gun bans.

As a U.S. combat veteran, I have seen the horrors of war up close, and like many veterans, I have been against virtually all military interventions of the last 15 years. However, when your neighbor ceases being a manageable threat and instead enters your house and kills and rapes your family, you can no longer rely on bigger fences and brainstorming sessions to unwind the situation – the evil force must be removed.

And though Shapiro must take these accusations seriously, there could be a silver lining for the governor: Appointing a new head of legislative affairs offers the opportunity to reset his relationship with lawmakers.

This has been an impressive week for Whiteoak High School. Longtime baseball coach Chris Veidt was selected to the 2024 class of the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame, and cross-country runner Landen Eyre won the Southeast District Division III Cross Country Championships at the University of Rio Grande for the second straight year.

Phone calls from the U.S. to Helsinki were much more reasonable, and I called my family every couple of days while in the states. On one call, my wife told me Mr. al-Wazir and his family had suddenly left on a family emergency. The reason? Mr. al-Wazir’s brother was Khalil al-Wazir.

The threat to the homeland is real, and Biden’s three-year welcome-the-world agenda has put citizens directly in harm’s way. Since October’s first week, two Iranians were apprehended at the Southwest Border. U.S. Customs and Border Protection found they had terrorism ties. Both were on the Terrorist Screening Database.

Educational institutions have a responsibility to educate and lead – not only in subject matters but in basic issues of morality. Those who fail to condemn the slaughter of children and fail to show empathy to their students who identify with this slaughter, are failing their mission at the most basic level. 

Our national security depends on constant innovation, including from the defense industry. That’s why we worked to create a national network of defense innovation hubs. Republican Rep. Michael Turner and I fought to make sure Ohio was included.

Xi is slated to visit San Francisco in November for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum Leaders Summit. When he meets with the leaders of the 21 APEC economies, which account for nearly 40% of the global population and nearly 50% of global trade, his public declaration that China will deepen its current Xinjiang policies cannot go unchallenged.
