The Supreme Court of the State of Ohio has ruled that there is no conflict of interest for Highland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss to preside over a local criminal case in which Highland County Commissioner Shane Wilkin was one of the victims.

The Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Sunday, July 17 in Clinton County. Debra O'Connell, 56, of Lexington, Ky., was pronounced dead by Clinton County Coroner Gary Garrison, after the 2005 Dodge Caravan she was driving crashed on I-71 Sunday afternoon.
