Ohio’s week-long deer-gun season begins statewide Monday, Nov. 26 and runs through Sunday, Dec. 2, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ (ODNR) Division of Wildlife. The season again includes an extra weekend of gun hunting Dec. 15-16.

The smallest city budget in nearly three decades was presented to Hillsboro City Council Tuesday night during their November meeting. An ordinance to make appropriations from the city of Hillsboro's General Fund "to provide for the current expenses and other expenditures … during the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, 2013" was presented for a first reading.
