    Ten days since their last match at Wilmington, the Hillsboro Indians returned to the field with a hat-trick from Michael Theobold and a 5-2 win over the Madison-Plains Golden Eagles, Tuesday at MPHS.
  • HHS to host Volley for the Cure Oct. 4
    Hillsboro High School volleyball teams will hold their annual "Volley for the Cure" game on Oct. 4. The Lady Indians will be taking on the Greenfield McClain Tigers. The varsity game will start at 6:15 p.m. Teams are asking the crowd to "paint" the stands pink and show their support in the fight against breast cancer and bring awareness to this worthy cause.

    The Hillsboro Lady Indians returned to the golf course and gained another win this season, defeating the Zane Trace Lady Pioneers 180-237 at the Running Fox Golf Course in Chillicothe.
  • Rothwell wins Ambassador Classic
    Saturday's Ambassador Cross-Country meet belonged to Hillsboro's Collin Rothwell as he finished in first place with a time of 18:18.8. His time was 40 seconds better than that of the second-place runner.

    Wilmington junior David Henry scored four first-half touchdowns Friday night at Wilmington College and senior Kyle Davis added a 55-yard TD run and a 70-yard TD scamper to give the Wilmington Hurricane a 42-0, lead over the Hillsboro Indians at halftime.
