    Knowing they must be near perfect the rest of the season in South Central Ohio League games, the McClain Lady Tigers didn't disappoint the fans who traveled to see them at Hillsboro on Wednesday night.

    The Hillsboro Indians kept with their season average of scoring, and again, it was enough to get the job done. HHS outscored the Clinton-Massie Falcons by three points in the fourth quarter, sending the Indians to a 59-57 South Central Ohio League victory, Tuesday at CMHS.

    In a game that was the final one put on the schedule this season due to a cancellation, the Hillsboro Indians traveled over 200 miles round-trip to Greenville Saturday, and they didn't disappoint. The Indians tied the game in the final seconds of regulation, followed with timely free-throw shooting to gain a non-league 68-64 win at GHS.

Hillsboro and the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats struggled from the field in the first half, but it was Hillsboro who overcame their miscues with a solid second-half effort for a 49-27 non-league win on Saturday afternoon at Whiteoak High School.

  • Indians break away for 6th straight win
    Being the away team on their home court in the final game of the 2011-12 SCOL-SHL Challenge made no difference to the Hillsboro Indians. Wearing their away red jerseys, the Indians led after each of the four quarters played for a 81-58 win against Highland County rival Whiteoak, Friday.
