The Bright Elementary School has received the Momentum Award for the 2016-17 school year. This award is presented by the State Board of Education and it recognizes schools for exceeding expectations in student growth for the year.

Connor Allemang earned his private pilot certificate on Jan. 19. Allemang, a resident of Sardinia, is enrolled in the Aviation Technology Program at the University of Cincinnati - Clermont College. The laboratory portion of the program is taught at the Clermont County Airport.
