The Fairfield Lady Lions were defeated Saturday afternoon by the Unioto Lady Shermans 10-1 in a non-conference game played at Fairfield High School.

The Fairfield Lions not only gained two wins Saturday afternoon against Southern Hills League foe Eastern Brown, they did it in convincing fashion in pre-scheduled five-inning games. Fairfield won the first game of their twin bill 10-5 and the second game 8-1 at EBHS.

Behind a four-hit pitching outing from senior Nathaniel Miller, two runs were enough for the Fairfield to defeat the Southeastern Panthers, 2-0 Thursday at SEHS.

Thursday was a rematch from 10 days ago between the top two teams in the Southern Hills League. The Fairfield Lady Lions and the Eastern Brown Lady Warriors entered the game as the top teams in the league, but this time around it was the Lady Lions gaining the win, defeating EB, 5-2 at EBHS.
