The first of the two-day Division III SE District Track and Field Championships was held at Southeastern High School on Wednesday, where athletes from Fairfield, Lynchburg-Clay and Whiteoak all qualified for the finals that will be held on Saturday.

The Fairfield Lady Lions are ranked eighth in the Week 5 Ohio High School Softball Coaches Association state poll released on Monday, May 15.

The Fairfield Lions baseball team ended their 2017 season on a winning note Friday night by defeating the North Adams Green Devils, in a makeup game at FHS, with a 2-1 score, clinching a share of the Division II Southern Hills Athletic Conference championship.

The 2017 Southern Hills Athletic Conference Track and Field Championships were won by both the Fairfield boys and girls teams Friday night at Lynchburg-Clay High School.
