Highland County commissioners David Daniels, Brad Roades and Terry Britton and EMA director David Bushelman met with Ohio Department of Administrative Services representatives Wednesday, May 29 to continue a roughly two-year discussion of constructing a new MARCS tower in the county.

One week after Highland County Sheriff Donnie Barrera announced his early retirement, Highland County commissioners David Daniels, Brad Roades and Terry Britton took action to appoint his replacement during their Wednesday, May 29 meeting.

A flag retirement ceremony will be held June 14 at 5 p.m. at Amvets Post 61 on North Shore Drive, Rocky Fork Lake.
