On July 19 and 20, personnel from the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Licensing and Commercial Standards section from the Findlay, Piqua and Wilmington districts focused efforts on commercial motor vehicle safety on Interstate 75 between the Michigan and Kentucky state lines.

The Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal crash involving three motor vehicles. The crash occurred July 20 at approximately 7:29 a.m. on state Route 28 in Miami Township, Clermont County.

The Georgetown Patrol Post hosted an open house Friday in recognition of the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s 90th anniversary. The open house allowed community members to meet Patrol personnel and see the local post.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is joining forces with other members of the 6-State Trooper Project to focus on move over violations. The initiative began on Sunday, July 16 at 12:01 a.m. and will continue through Saturday, July 22 at 11:59 p.m.

In celebration of the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s 90th anniversary, the Georgetown Post is hosting an open house for members of the community July 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Fairfax Police Department and the Hamilton County OVI Task Force, announced Friday that an OVI checkpoint will be held from July 14 from 9-11 p.m. on U.S. 50, Wooster Pike, in the Village of Fairfax in Hamilton County.

The Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred Friday, June 23 at approximately 12:37 a.m. on Shiloh Road near Woodville Pike in Goshen Township, Clermont County.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced Thursday that an OVI checkpoint will be held in Butler County Friday evening, June 23.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, with assistance from the Norwood Police Department, the Hamilton County OVI Task Force and the Ohio Department of Transportation conducted an OVI checkpoint on Montgomery Road, in the City of Norwood, in Hamilton County on June 16 from 9-11 p.m.

Troopers from the Lebanon Post are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash. The crash occurred Friday, June 16, at approximately 10:06 a.m., on Union Road north of Woodwind Court in Turtlecreek Township, Warren County.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced Thursday that an OVI checkpoint will be held in Hamilton County tomorrow evening.

The Hamilton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle double-fatal crash that occurred Saturday, May 20 at approximately 11:36 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 48 and East Lytle Five Points Road in Clearcreek Township, Warren County.
