Mount Vernon Nazarene University is excited to announce that it’s a proud 2024 recipient of the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency Recycling and Litter Prevention Grant. This grant is part of Ohio EPA’s waste management initiative in keeping America beautiful.

Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Homecoming was a whirlwind of celebration, kicking off with the Homecoming Chapel on Friday and culminating with the President’s Prayer Breakfast on Sunday morning. In between, alumni and friends were greeted with a plethora of activities that welcomed them home.

Mount Vernon Nazarene University is thrilled to present “Bedtime Stories: As Told by Dad (Who Messed Them Up),” written by Ed Monk, with performances this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. in the Thorne Performance Hall of R.R. Hodges Chapel/Fine Arts Center.

This distinctive event will feature special guests Tim Belcher, a 14-year Major League Baseball veteran and proud MVNU alumnus; Tom Hamilton, the beloved voice of the Cleveland Guardians; and emcee Mark “The Shark” Howell from 97.1 The Fan.
