Shane Claiborne has had a fascinating life growing up in the Bible Belt, calling Mother Teresa on the phone and working with her in Calcutta, getting arrested in Philadelphia’s Love Park for feeding the homeless and traveling to Iraq during the American bombing. He’s been described as an activist who uses “biographical stories to animate biblical truths, bringing that home and calling us all to join God’s revolution where we are.”

Carol ONeal describes herself as a self-taught artist informed by “equal parts ignorance, enthusiasm and fearlessness.” Wilmington College’s Harcum Art Gallery will feature an exhibit of her work from Oct. 23 through Dec. 7.

Wilmington Quakers freshman forward Parker Burke continues to put together an impressive 2024 campaign. He scored seven goals last week for 14 points and was named the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Player of the Week Monday for the second time this season and second time during his career.

The United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced their second Region VII (Seven) rankings of the 2024 season Tuesday, and for the first time since 2022, the Wilmington College Quakers are ranked.
