On Sept. 1-7, the Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter had seven members show their beef projects at the 2024 Highland County Fair.

As we reflect back on the 2024 Highland County Fair, we would like to congratulate two of our Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA members who excelled in the Alpaca and Llama show. These two exhibitors are Dalayna Collins and Addy Knauff.

The Lynchburg-Clay FFA had multiple FFA members participate in the 2024 Highland County Fair. We had members participate in special interest projects, crops and members who exhibited livestock.

SATH (Supplementary Assistance to the Handicapped) will once again sponsor the “Cutie Pie” and “Cutie Pet” contest during the Highland County Fair (Sept. 1-7).

During the week of the Highland County Fair, we had seven Hillsboro FFA members exhibit swine projects.

During the week of Sept. 3-9, many members of the Hillsboro FFA Chapter spent the week serving on the Highland County Junior Fair Board. Those members include Carter Boyd, Addy Knauff, Dalayna Collins, Blake Herdman, Riley Collins, Halle Jones, Corbin Winkle, Kallie Sharp, Leeann Vance and Kathryn Ogden.

Throughout the week of Sept. 2-9, some of the Hillsboro FFA members exhibited their horses.

On Saturday, Sept. 2 the breeding and market rabbits moved into the Highland County Fairgrounds.

During the 2023 Highland County Fair, the Fairfield FFA had many accomplishments and participated in multiple ways.

Sydney Shelton from the Mowrystown FFA had a phenomenal year at the Highland County Fair with her dairy cows.
