This year at the Highland County Fair, we had various Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA members exhibit projects at the Junior Fair Building. These projects include those that are non-livestock, such as vegetables, flowers, photography, plants and other agricultural productions.

Members with these projects include Carter Boyd, Ann Boyd, Addy Knauff, Grace Allen, Maddie Dearmon, Emma Yochum and Connor Yochum.

The Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA also took on the challenge of decorating a booth to educate our local community and fair goers about our chapter. After some long planning and lots of creativity, we were able to take home second place for our decorations.

These projects and exhibitors show that the fair is far more than the livestock. Exhibitors of these projects also put in hard work year-round in order to exhibit at the fair.
