Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Director Jack Marchbanks Thursday announced that ODOT will award a total of $15 million in grant funding to support roadway safety improvements and improved road signage in several local cities and townships.

When the former Fayette County Memorial Hospital was welcomed into the Adena Health family in 2021, Adena President and CEO Jeff Graham expressed a desire to make a significant investment in the future of health care in Fayette County. The future, he promised at the time, included plans for construction of a new critical access hospital.

A Washington Court House man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to a first-degree felony drug trafficking charge in Highland County Common Pleas Court.

On May 3 at approximately 3 p.m., the Fayette County Sheriff's Office responded to the 8000 block of US 62 North on a report of an injury accident involving a child being struck as they were exiting a school bus.

On Thursday, April 25 at 3:53 p.m., the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the Hillsboro Police Department that their officers were pursuing a red 2005 Ford F150, traveling north on U.S. 62 toward Fayette County.
