Washington CH man charged with felonious assault, endangering children

On Dec. 20, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a possible assault involving a 7-week-old child who had allegedly sustained severe injuries. 

Deputies conducted an immediate investigation including in person interviews and consultations with medical professionals and determined that the injuries were allegedly consistent with abuse and assault.

As a result of the investigation, Aaron R. Oneal, 24, of Washington Court House, has been arrested and charged with felonious assault and endangering children, both second-degree felonies. He is currently being held in the Fayette County Jail on a $1 million bond.

This investigation is ongoing and will be presented to the Fayette County Prosecutor’s Office for their review and consideration of any additional charges.
