The first annual Lady 'Cats Basketball Spring Classic will be held on two different weekends in late March at Whiteoak High School for boys and girls in grades 3rd-6th.

For the second time this week the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs defended their home court, and in the process Thursday night against the Manchester Lady Greyhounds gained a big Southern Hills League win, defeating MHS 51-43.

Once again, the South Central Ohio League championship will have to go through Miami Trace High School. The defending seven-time league champions combined scoring runs with pressure defense to knock off a hard-charging McClain Lady Tigers team, defeating the visiting MHS squad, 50-46 at MTHS, Thursday night.

The Hillsboro Lady Indians outscored the Blanchester Lady Wildcats in the second half, but it was the first 16 minutes that hurt the Lady Indians Tuesday night at Hillsboro High School. HHS fell to BHS 50-36.

The McClain Lady Tigers broke a tied score with under two minutes remaining and never looked back, defeating the Zane Trace Lady Pioneers, 51-42 Tuesday night at McClain High School.

Things got back to normal for the Fairfield Lions Tuesday night at Grandle Gymnasium. Headed into the Southern Hills League contest winless on the year, all of that was tossed aside after 32 minutes of basketball with the Lions gaining win No. 1 of the year, defeating the Fayetteville Rockets, 65-51.
