    Lions fall by 2 at Peebles

    A 22-point fourth quarter still wasn't enough for the Fairfield Lions, Friday night. Even though they had the big-time scoring effort in the final eight minutes, they still came up two points short, falling in their Southern Hills Athletic Conference matchup with the Peebles Indians, 68-66.

    The fourth quarter wasn't kind to the Hillsboro Indians Friday night. HHS, again, lost a lead after entering the fourth frame with the advantage, as they led 33-31 entering the fourth but lost the final eight minutes as they were outscored 18-3.

    Senior guard C.J. Captain averaged 21.2 points and 5 assists per game last season. He also had a total of 59 steals for the season. He was an SBAC first team selection and Division II All SE District first team.
