With an opportunity to win a Southern Hills Athletic League Division I championship, the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs trailed too much, too early. The result of that was they were defeated by the Peebles Lady Indians, as the visiting Lady Mustangs fell by a score of 42-34.
