    By far not their best offensive effort of the season, the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs used every ounce of defensive effort they had on Monday night to defeat the Washington Lady Blue Lions 31-26 at WSHS.

    After receiving a No. 4 seed in the upcoming sectional tournament on Sunday, the McClain Lady Tigers took the court on Monday, and 32 game minutes later, they walked off the court as winners for the 13th time this season. The Lady Tigers, who have four straight wins, scored in double digits in three of the four quarters played, en route to a 57-42 non-league win over the Eastern (Beaver) Lady Eagles at MHS.
