Indians earn FAC win over MTHS
A strong second half sent the Hillsboro Indians to a Frontier Athletic Conference win on Tuesday night, with the Indians defending their home field for a 5-1 victory over Miami Trace.
Hillsboro led 1-0 at halftime and broke away for a four-goal second half.
Sophomore Kameron Evers led the Indians with a hat trick, as he scored three goals. Senior Judah Brandyberry and senior Austin Bledsoe also scored one goal each.
Junior Cooper Swope totaled two assists, senior Wesley Bailey also totaled two assists and Evers had one assist.
Senior keeper Ryan Fender finished with six saves, as one of his saves was a penalty kick save.
The win improves the Indians’ FAC record to 4-3, and overall the Indians move to 9-5.

HHS falls to Lady Panthers by one goal
Hosting the Miami Trace Lady Panthers on Tuesday night, the Hillsboro Lady Indians lost to the visitors 3-2 in Frontier Athletic Conference action.
This is the second time this season the Lady Panthers have defeated the Lady Indians in FAC action.
With the loss, HHS now stands at 7-7-1 overall and 3-5-1 in the FAC.

McClain shut out against Chillicothe
The McClain Lady Tigers lost on the road in a Frontier Athletic Conference match to the Chillicothe Lady Cavaliers by a 7-0 score on Tuesday night.
CHS scored four goals in the first half and three more in the second half. Chillicothe has defeated McClain twice this season.
The loss sends MHS to a 9-3-2 overall record and a 4-3-2 record in the FAC.

Tigers fall to Chillicothe
In Frontier Athletic Conference action on Tuesday, the McClain Tigers lost to the Chillicothe Cavaliers by a 8-0 score at CHS.
CHS has won both meetings against the Tigers this season.
The loss moves the Tigers to an 0-7-0 record in the FAC, with an overall record of 2-11-0.
