The cast is set, rehearsals are under way and tickets are on sale for Wilmington College-Community Summer Theatre’s presentation of the musical comedy, “The Addams Family,” July 13, 14, 15 and 16 in Hugh G. Heiland Theatre.
We are soon offering a community wellness coach training for those individuals who are interested. The training will be offered in Jackson in July, and will consist of five days of training.
The District 13-OH6 Lions Convention was held recently in Blue Ash. The Lynchburg Lions Club received several special awards in recognition of its community service and Lions promotion projects.
The artwork of local seniors will be showcased at the Area Agency on Aging District 7’s (AAA7) 35th Annual Senior Citizens Art Show that will be held May 22-26 (Monday through Friday) and May 30 – June 2 (Tuesday through Friday) at the Esther Allen Greer Museum, located on the campus of the University of Rio Grande and Rio Grande Community College in Rio Grande, Ohio.
The Highland County Board of Commissioners, in cooperation with the Highland County Senior Citizens and the Highland County Visitors Bureau have renamed a sanctioned Kansas City Barbecue Society competition to be held at Rocky Fork Lake on Saturday, Sept. 23 it was announced at the Wednesday, May 17 meeting of the Highland County Board of Commissioners.
