New Vienna Library offering book, movie promotion

“If you liked the movie, you’ll love the book.” “Don’t judge a book by its movie.” No matter how you describe it, the New Vienna Library is offering readers an opportunity in joining others in rating a book and its movie.
Starting Monday, Sept. 18, patrons can come in and check out adult books by well-known authors such as William Paul Young (“The Shack”), John Grisham (“The Runaway Jury”) and even Diane Ackerman (“The Zookeeper’s Wife”).

Young adults can also join in on the fun with E.B. White (“Charlotte’s Web”), Ann Brashares (“The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants”) and Gayle Forman (“If I Stay”).
Last but not least, younger readers can also find books and movies to pick from, such as: Dr. Seuss’ “The Cat in the Hat,” Maurice Sendak’s “Where the Wild Things Are” and “Gruffalo’s Child” by Julia Donaldson. Has your child read “The Berenstain Bears” and “The Big Red Kite?” Seen the movie? The New Vienna Library has both.
All movies are required to be checked out by adults (18 and older).
For each book read and movie watched, your name will be entered into a drawing for a family movie package, including two free admission tickets to the Hillsboro Star Cinemas.
