Greg Tholen of Lynchburg recently graduated from Ohio Farm Bureau’s AgriPOWER Class XII. The elite leadership program was started in 2008 to help agricultural advocates gain influence over public policy issues that impact their businesses and communities.

The Premier Showmen 4-H Club held their third meeting of the year on Sunday, Feb. 27 at the 4-H food booth. The meeting was called to order by the president, Abby Dhume, at 6 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Wyatt Osborn and the 4-H pledge was led by Shannon Combs.

Projects through the years that the foundation has had a part in include trees in the downtown, a multi-church Pipes of Christmas organ project, economic development efforts, field improvements at Mitchell Park, youth league equipment, creation of busts of Edward Lee and Lulu Johnson McClain and the recent refurbishment of the clock tower of the city building.

The exhibit “Of Itself So” by Clint Woods, featuring surreal natural landscapes, will be on display in the UC Clermont Art Gallery through March 29, when a closing reception will be held from noon-1 p.m. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
