This year’s Christmas Tour of Homes for the Greenfield Historical Society will feature five homes and a church. The tour will be held from 12:30-4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7. A baked steak dinner will precede the tour at the Grain and Hay Building at the corner of Jefferson Street and McArthur Way from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

The Lynchburg Lions Club and Lions Clubs International sponsor an annual Peace Poster Contest in the fall. The Lynchburg club encourages middle school students to develop a special poster on a theme related to promoting world peace.
