Paint Valley Jamboree to host 3 artists for final show of the year
The final Paint Valley Jamboree of 2014 will be held in the historic Paxton Theatre Saturday, Dec. 20 at 7 p.m., where Bobby G. Rice, Donna Cunningham and Allen Karl will be welcomed as the headlining acts to the stage.
Rice is an American country music singer-songwriter who, between 1970 and 1988, released nine albums and charted 30 songs on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. His biggest hit, “You Lay So Easy On My Mind,” went all the way to number 1 in 1973.
Cunningham has just recently hit the music scene strongly in Europe with five charted singles. She has been voted The Buckeye Country Music Organization of America’s Female Vocalist and Female Entertainer of the Year Awards for 2006 through 2011 and has also won five North American Country Music Association International awards, including Traditional Female Country Entertainer of the Year.
County recording artist Karl is much more than “The Good Guy in the Black Hat.” He’s a seasoned entertainer, international dignitary and preserver of the traditional country and western music genre that has defined a nation.

Our special guests will be joined onstage by featured performers: Gary Adams, Phyllis Ashworth, Al Harper, Carol McIntosh, Mike Woo, the Paint Valley Jamboree band (Joe Adams, Jim Bristley, Dan Cook, Roger Cooper, Don Elkins and Dave Roberson) and emcee Kenny Baum.
The night will feature a mix of holiday stories, music, laughs and a grand celebration closing out 2014.
The Paint Valley Jamboree is presented by The Rockhold, Brown & Co. Bank.
Tickets are $15 at the door but can be purchased online for only $10. Children 10 and under get in free.
