Two people were killed and one other was injured in a one-vehicle crash Saturday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, on state Route 73 south in Washington Township.
 According to the post, at approximately 10:22 p.m., a red 2000 Ford F-150 was traveling southeast on state Route 73 when it allegedly failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway, and struck several trees.

A House committee vote is expected Tuesday, March 29 on Senate Bill 5, the hotly debated legislation that would make strikes by public employees illegal.

The Wilmington post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash that occurred on March 25 at approximately 10 p.m. on state Route 73 near milepost #21 in Green Township, Clinton County.

The death of a 10-month-old infant Monday was found to be caused by drowning; however, the police investigation into the case remains open.
 Deputy Highland County Coroner Dr. Jeff Beery told The Highland County Press that he has ruled "the cause of death to be drowning and the manner of death is an accident."

Two juveniles were arrested following a 30-minute pursuit that reached high speeds Friday morning, across 31 miles of Highland County and Pike County roadways, after they allegedly stole a vehicle and refused to stop at the instruction of law enforcement.
 According to Sgt. Rob New of the Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at approximately 12:51 a.m. Friday a trooper attempted to stop a 1998 Ford Explorer for failing to stop at the intersection on state Route 124 and U.S. 50.
