PAS Technologies announces Hillsboro expansion WATCH THE VIDEO

The phrase "It's a great day for Highland County" was repeated numerous times Thursday when PAS Technologies announced an expansion in Hillsboro that will bring 40 jobs to Hillsboro - with the possibility of more to come.
 State and local elected officials met Thursday at the Hi-TEC Center in Hillsboro, joined by PAS leaders and community members for the official announcement that the aerospace technologies manufacturer was bringing jobs to Hillsboro.

Commissioners wish Hodson well; meet with county engineer on Carl Smith Drive project
Highland County Engineer Dean Otworth and Michelle Throckmorton of the Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission (OVRDC) updated commissioners on the financing possibilities for the Hobart Drive/Carl Smith Drive access road project. “Design-wise, everything is moving forward,” Otworth said.

Senator Portman to attend expansion announcement at PAS Technologies in Hillsboro
U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-Ohio) will participate in PAS Technologies' expansion announcement in Hillsboro tomorrow, April 28, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the Training and Employment Center, 1575 N. High Street, rooms 27 A & B. Sen. Portman has been working with corporate and local leaders to advance the expansion, which is expected to create 50-100 new jobs.
