The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a winter weather advisory for much of southwest Ohio through St. Patrick's Day. A mix of rain and snow is likely Sunday with area accumulations reaching 2 inches.

A proposal that could save Highland County more than a quarter of a million dollars was introduced Wednesday by Highland County Commissioner Shane Wilkin. Wilkin met recently in Columbus with the Ohio Development Services Agency regarding the county's outstanding debt related to bonds on the Leesburg Industrial Park.
