Air Force Reserve Airman Caleb W. Savage has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Jerry and Elizabeth Savage of Greenfield. He is a 2012 graduate of McClain High School.

Three individuals from New Albany received prison time, fines and hunting license suspensions for operating an illegal hunting guide service during a two-year investigation, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

The Hillsboro Police Department is investigating an incident involving an alleged theft at a North High business late Thursday. At approximately 10:35 p.m. Jan. 17, an employee of a North High restaurant reported that as he was walking to his car after closing the business, an unknown male approached him, with his "face concealed and posed physically, as if to have a weapon pointed at the employee," the HPD said.

A plan to consolidate 13 offices will minimize vacant office space and save the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) $2 million annually, without impacting services to individuals or businesses. The consolidation work will begin this spring and finish by the end of the year.
