More winter?

Punxsutawney Phil says so.

The Pennsylvania groundhog made his fearless prediction Sunday morning after seeing his shadow on Groundhog Day in Gobbler's Knob, Pa.

Legend has it that if the woodchuck sees his own shadow on Feb. 2, he will return to his burrow and winter will continue. If he doesn't see his shadow, we'll have an early spring.

More often than not, Punxsutawney Phil is wrong.

Punxsutawney Phil and Ohio's famous once-a-year weather forecaster, Buckeye Chuck, were both wrong last year, when they predicted an early spring.

After last year's false prediction, Butler County Prosecutor Michael Gmoser indicted Punxsutawney Phil on one count of misrepresentation of spring – an unclassified felony against the peace and dignity of the state of Ohio.

This year is the first time Super Bowl Sunday has fallen on Groundhog Day.
