Ohio college students and faculty are feeling the effects of a new, wide-ranging higher education law that bans diversity efforts, prohibits faculty strikes, and regulates classroom discussion.
The Fairfield Local School Board Of Education will hold a special meeting for the purpose of amending the Memorandum of Understanding between Highland Health Providers and the Board of Education of the Fairfield Local School District.
The Greenfield Exempted Village School District Board of Education will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. in the Greenfield Middle School gymnasium.
School districts have made some progress in addressing the national shortage of school bus drivers, but there still aren’t as many drivers as there were in 2019, according to a new study.
During the November meeting of the Lynchburg-Clay Local Schools Board of Education, the district acknowledged several students and a longtime educator in the district and thanked NCB Bank for a $15,000 donation to provide food on weekends for students.

Wilmington College announced its recent purchase of the BrightFarms facility in Wilmington and revealed plans to revitalize the shuttered space into the Wilmington College Agriscience Complex. The acquisition includes the existing 120,000 square-foot hydroponic greenhouse, as well as an adjacent 20 acres bordering the College’s 267-acre Academic Farm.
A slew of conservative groups will lead a new coalition to spur civics education and push the subject in a more patriotic direction, the U.S. Education Department announced, raising alarms for some traditional civics and education groups that were not included in the initiative.
