  • SSCC announces summer honors list
    Southern State Community College has released its president’s and dean’s list for academic excellence for the summer quarter. To be eligible for the president’s list, a student must maintain a 4.0 grade point average, while carrying a minimum of 12 academic credit hours. Those who achieve the dean’s list are also full-time students who have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0.

         On Friday, October 2, 2009, Buckskin Elementary participated in Lee National Denim Day.  By wearing jeans on this day and donating $5, we were helping fund important breast cancer research and treatment programs.  We helped raise over $1,000!!!

    Southern State Community College's Patri-Tots Learning Center announces sponsorship of the USDA-funded Child and Adult Care Food Program. Meals are available to all enrolled participants without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability and will be served at no separate charge.
