McClain homecoming festivities set for Sept. 24 weekend

McClain homecoming festivities set for Sept. 24
It’s homecoming week at McClain High School as the football team will take on the Madison Plains Golden Eagles on Friday, Sept. 24 at 7:30 p.m.  
The homecoming court was announced this past Friday. The student body selected Kelsey Davis as the 2010 Homecoming queen. Her attendants are Alyssa Anderson and Kelly Mustard. The class attendants are Sarah Balzer (senior), Tia Mitchell (junior), Marisa Hike (sophomore), and Megan Mustard (freshman).
The students will be celebrating spirit week all week, and will cap it off with a snake dance and bonfire beginning at 7 p.m. at the McClain practice field on Thursday night. Game night presentation of the queen and her court will begin approximately at 7 p.m. prior to the football game on Friday night. The weekend will be capped off by the dance on Saturday night from 9 p.m.- midnight.   Homecoming tickets are on sale at the high school in room 310 before school, during lunch, and after school. The prices are $10 for a single ticket or $18 for couples.
