    The Whiteoak Wildcats took control in the bottom of the sixth Friday at Whiteoak High School. Having two players with at least two hits, the Wildcats defeated the Fayetteville Rockets 6-2 in Southern Hills League play.

    Giving up six unearned runs against the East Clinton Astros hurt any chances for a Whiteoak Wildcats win Monday at Wilmington College. The Wildcats gave up the six runs in three combined innings for a 6-1 non-league loss.
