Turnovers, foul trouble and a big second quarter by the North Adams Lady Green Devils was enough to stop the Whiteoak Lady ‘Cats Thursday night, with NAHS defeating WHS 71-52 at Whiteoak High School.

The Whiteoak girls cross country team is headed to the Division III Regional tournament after a fourth place finish at Rio Grande in the district meet, Saturday.
In a thrilling, five-game match, the Fairfield Lady Lions captured their first sectional volleyball championship Thursday, defeating the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats, 19-25, 25-22, 26-24, 22-25 and 15-10 in the final game.
This past Saturday with temperatures in the low 40's the Whiteoak Wildcats participated in the Southern Hills League Championships at Ripley High School.
