    Though the Fairfield Lady Lions scored just one run, it proved to be just enough to win a Division IV SE District Sectional title, as FHS defeated the South Webster Lady Jeeps 1-0 Saturday at FHS as the Lady Lions claimed their 26th sectional title.

    Wanting to keep sharp during down time in-between postseason games, the Whiteoak Wildcats and Fairfield Lions added a third meeting to their slate against each other Friday. For the third time this season it was Whiteoak who were the victors in the non-league game, defeating the Lions 10-8 at WHS.
