The McClain girls varsity soccer team made history last Thursday night when they were able to gain a 2-2 tie with Chillicothe on their home field.

The McClain boys soccer team entertained Frontier Athletic Conference foe Jackson on Thursday night and played them pretty much even over the first 50 minutes of the 80-minute match, before falling to the visitors, 4-1.

The McClain varsity girls soccer team lost to Jackson Thursday night in Greenfield, 4-0, but they played very hard and never quit competing to the end.

The McClain varsity volleyball team got some sweet revenge Thursday night on their home floor when they defeated Jackson 3-1, avenging an earlier-season loss.

It was a perfect night for football Friday night in Greenfield for homecoming when the McClain Tigers and Miami Trace Panthers took to the field to open Frontier Athletic Conference play.

McClain High School and Washington High School are joining together to raise money for Nationwide Children’s Hospital ahead of the schools’ Oct. 6 football matchup.
