Saturday saw the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs fall to the McClain Lady Tigers, but followed that with a win over the Paint Valley Lady Bearcats in their home tri-doubleheader.
The McClain varsity baseball team suffered a disappointing 12-1 loss Wednesday in Greenfield to the Miami Trace Panthers with both teams playing their third straight game in three days.
After posting a big 13-5 victory over Washington on the road Wednesday night, the McClain varsity softball team returned home Thursday and dropped a 9-1 decision to visiting Miami Trace on Daryle Unger Field.
McClain moved to their third consecutive win on Wednesday night, as they went on the road and defeated non-conference foe, the East Clinton Astros, by a 13-3 score in six innings.
