The Fairfield Lady Lions traveled to Whiteoak High School in Mowrystown Wednesday to face the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats on Senior Day. 

Recent state grant awards supporting partnerships between Adena Health and several area school districts to create school-based health centers will produce significant benefits for students and community members – both now and into the future.

The McClain Lady Tigers began their 2024 season with non-conference losses to the Huntington Lady Huntsmen and the Adena Lady Warriors on Monday and Tuesday evening. 

The McClain Tigers baseball team opened their 2024 season Saturday with a loss to the Adena Warriors, but came back on Monday and earned their first win of the season by defeating the Piketon Redstreaks at VA Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe.

Adena Greenfield Medical Center will be hosting its first Bloodmobile of the year on Jan. 24. from noon to 6 p.m. at the New Directions gym on North Fifth Street in Greenfield. 

The second annual Chad Hodson Classic was held in Grandle Gymnasium at Fairfield High School Saturday, as six games were played with all five Highland County schools represented in the all-day event.
