McClain junior Jon McDonald finished 35th Saturday morning at the 2010 Division II State Cross Country Championship at Scioto Downs.

At Greenfield, the McClain Tigers won their Homecoming game over Madison-Plains, 24-0. In an impressive ceremony prior to the game, attractive MHS senior Krista Clouser was crowned 1980 Homecoming Queen. Her court included queen’s attendant Wanda Scheeler, senior attendant Tammy Edgington, junior attendant Pam Scheeler, sophomore attendant Jeri Knisley and freshman attendant Noelle Warfield.

On Saturday, Oct. 30 in Pickerington, Shane Paul, of Greenfield, won the Advanced Masters Ohio State Jui-Jitsu Championship.

2010-11 McClain Boy's Basketball reserve seats (season tickets) will be sold starting Wednesday, Nov. 3.

“It’s been an outstanding season and I’m very proud of these young men on their effort and look forward to Vermont,” said Adam Holbrook, SSCC athletic director. “When I started in June as athletic director, I had no idea we would qualify for the national tournament in November. Men’s soccer has given me both my first OCAC championship and national tournament experience.”
